Mortgagee Review Board: Administrative Actions

SUMMARY: In compliance with Section 202(c)(5) of the National Housing Act, this notice advises of the cause and description of administrative actions taken by HUD’s Mortgagee Review Board against HUD-approved mortgagees.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Section 202(c)(5) of the National Housing Act (12 U.S.C. 1708(c)(5)) requires that HUD ‘‘publish a description of and the cause for administrative action against a HUDapproved mortgagee’’ by HUD’s Mortgagee Review Board (‘‘Board’’). In compliance with the requirements of Section 202(c)(5), this notice advises of actions that have been taken by the Board in its meetings from October 1, 2015 to September 30, 2016.

Fair Market Rents for the Housing Choice Voucher Program and Moderate Rehabilitation Single Room Occupancy Program Fiscal Year 2017; Revised

SUMMARY: This notice updates the FY 2017 FMRs for Portland, ME HUD Metro FMR Area (HMFA) and VallejoFairfield, CA Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA), as requested by commenters. In addition to announcing these revised FY 2017 FMRs, this notice also includes HUD responses to the comments received regarding the FY 2017 FMRs.

DATES: Effective Date: The revised FY 2017 FMRs for Portland, ME, HMFA and Vallejo-Fairfield, CA, MSA are effective on May 1, 2017.

Notice of Regulatory Waiver Requests Granted for the Fourth Quarter of Calendar Year 2016

SUMMARY: Section 106 of the Department of Housing and Urban Development Reform Act of 1989 (the HUD Reform Act) requires HUD to publish quarterly Federal Register notices of all regulatory waivers that HUD has approved. Each notice covers the quarterly period since the previous Federal Register notice. The purpose of this notice is to comply with the requirements of section 106 of the HUD Reform Act. This notice contains a list of regulatory waivers granted by HUD during the period beginning on October 1, 2016, and ending on December 31, 2016.
